Le Président Félix Tshisekedi est arrivé au pouvoir dans un contexte hors du commun.
Depuis son accession au pouvoir, des articles ont été écrits sur ses présumées fautes politiques mais jamais sur son habileté manœuvrière.
Félix Tshisekedi a combattu dans une campagne électorale marquée par des accusations de ses détracteurs et de ses anciens alliés du bloc LAMUKA. Les uns disaient qu’il était le véritable dauphin de l’ancien Président Joseph Kabila.
D’autres, par contre, l’accusait de jouer le jeu du pouvoir Kabila qui consistait à faciliter la victoire de Emmanuel Shadari à l’élection Présidentielle afin que lui devienne Premier ministre après les élections.
Félix Tshisekedi est entré dans une campagne dominée par le doute sur sa personne et ses motivations réelles.
Toutes les accusations portées contre lui, alors candidat Président, avaient mis à mal sa campagne à travers le pays. Pour les uns, il n’était pas un candidat à prendre au sérieux et pour d’autres, il était un traître corrompu.
En dépit de ce climat défavorable pour lui, Félix Tshisekedi est parvenu à s’imposer comme étant le gagnant de l’élection présidentielle.
Sa victoire à l’élection présidentielle a été accompagnée d’un autre soupçon contre sa personne, avec cette fois-ci des accusations faisant état d’un accord signé secrètement avec son prédécesseur Joseph Kabila pour devenir Président de la République.
L’homme le plus en vue de la campagne électorale de 2018 Martin Fayulu cria au scandale. Il a dit que sa victoire lui a été volé. De ce fait, il s’auto-proclame le Président véritablement élu de la RDC. Un titre qu’il revendique encore aujourd’hui.
Comme lors de la campagne électorale, l’image de Félix Tshisekedi est mise à mal.
Dépourvu de majorité au parlement congolais et dans toutes les assemblées provinciales, il a passé un accord public avec son prédécesseur Joseph Kabila mettant en place une coalition gouvernementale dite FCC-CACH. Grâce à cette coalition, Félix Tshisekedi est parvenu à hisser ses fidèles lieutenants à des hautes fonctions stratégiques, au parlement comme au gouvernement.
L’alliance FCC-CACH a servi à projeter davantage une fausse image de Félix Tshisekedi aux yeux du peuple. Pour une bonne partie de l’opinion congolaise, cette alliance était la confirmation des soupçons qui pesaient sur lui pendant la campagne; des soupçons qui disaient qu’il était le véritable dauphin de Joseph Kabila. Une autre opinion estimait qu’il incarnait la continuité du régime totalitaire et oppresseur de Joseph Kabila.
Face à ce contexte peu rassurant quant à son côté vrai, en tant que leader, Félix Tshisekedi était perçu par la plupart de ses critiques comme une simple marionnette de Joseph Kabila.
De Joseph Kabila, les gens disent qu’il est non seulement le maître du jeu mais le jeu lui-même. L’emprise qu’il exerce sur Félix Tshisekedi réconforte ses fidèles lieutenants qui voyaient d’un œil peu convaincant l’alternance à la tête du pays.
L’opposant principal Martin Fayulu a écrit sur son compte Twitter que le président congolais est un pantin.
Lorsqu’en 2019, Félix Tshisekedi a annoncé, lors d’un meeting en Belgique devant la diaspora congolaise, qu’il comptait déboulonner nu le système Kabila (l’ancien système), personne ne le croyait sur parole. Ce commentaire avait alors provoqué l’une des premières crises dans la nouvelle alliance avec Joseph Kabila.
Au niveau de l’opinion publique, l’alliance entre Joseph Kabila et Félix Tshisekedi a divisé les esprits.
La majorité de gens estime que Joseph Kabila a été beaucoup plus malin pour le maintenir dans un cercle vicieux.
Aux élections générales décisives de 2018, le peuple congolais voulait tourner définitivement la page Joseph Kabila avec ses dix-huit ans de règne totalitaire et sans partage.
Le peuple avait opté pour le renouveau.
En se mettant en alliance avec Joseph Kabila, Félix Tshisekedi, jadis l’opposant le plus aimé du pays, devenait impopulaire. Joseph Kabila, en homme fort, continuait de tenir toutes les clés entre ses mains pour faire basculer l’élection autour de lui.
Quel mécanisme faut-il appliquer pour se défaire d’un homme fort qui a la main sur tous les verrous?.
Malgré les accusations de ses critiques et sa faiblesse apparente, Félix Tshisekedi s’est vite mis à consolider son pouvoir au niveau de l’armée en y apportant des changements profonds , même si cela ne plaisait pas à Kabila. Les caciques du FCC ont crié au scandale mais la caravane est passée.
Félix Tshisekedi a refusé d’entériner la candidature du futur Président de la CENI parce qu’il était proche du clan Kabila, selon l’opinion publique, après le vote majoritaire au parlement.
Félix Tshisekedi a consolidé son emprise sur la magistrature en nommant des nouveaux juges et en les investissant dans un contexte de duel avec le clan FCC.
Joseph Kabila a crié au scandale mais la caravane est passée.
Il a fait tomber le bureau pro Joseph Kabila à l’Assemblee nationale.

En deux ans, Félix Tshisekedi a réussi à reléguer le clan de Joseph Kabila au second plan mais aussi ses détracteurs et les théoriciens du complot.
Toute cette energie dans l’homme et son habilité manœuvrière laissent ses adversaires sans armes solides pour contre-attaquer son pouvoir.
Félix Tshisekedi, la marionnette de Kabila et le pantin, est devenu le centre du jeu. Il est passé maître dans l’art de feindre et dans l’esquive politique.
Pour se débarrasser du pouvoir totalitaire de Joseph Kabila, l’homme fort en tout temps et en tout lieu au Congo-Kinshasa, Félix Tshisekedi s’est revêtu de la peau d’un agneau et une fois arrivé à l’autre rive, il a ôté cette peau d’agneau. Tout le monde a vu le loup s’avancer sans la force de l’arrêter.
En somme, s’il y a eu un accord entre Joseph Kabila et Félix Tshisekedi pour que celui-ci devienne Président, on dirait que Kabila, par désir de contrôle et par désespoir face au temps qui court, a éventré un boa et il a perdu tout le contrôle après.
Dans le pays, la cote de popularité de Félix Tshisekedi continue à grimper. L’homme n’est plus perçu comme avant. Le péché qu’on croyait impardonnable est devenu un gain de l’histoire pour la RDC qui rouvre la porte à une nouvelle ère. Des transformations profondes sont en cours.
